Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 May 1974

Harry Lehman, 79, of route 1, Charles road, died late Monday evening at Ionia
County memorial hospital following an illness of one month.  He was born in
Ionia August 15, 1894, the son of Michael and Caroline Lehman and attended the
Ionia schools.

He was a army veteran of World War I.  In 1920 he was married to Laura Sprague
and she died in 1957.  He was a farmer and retired employe of the Detroit Gasket
Company of Belding.

Surviving are four sons, Gerald of Fenwick, Charles, Stanley and Harry J., of
Ionia; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Palo
and Clem of Ionia; sister, Mrs. Robert North of Hubbardston.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hull Memorial chapel in Muir.
 Interment will be at the North Plains cemetery.
