Rook officiating and interment at the Letts cemetery. Arthur died suddenly with a stroke Tuesday evening, May 4, at the age of 29 years. He was born in Illinois and came to Michigan with his parents at the age of 8 years and has resided in Ionia county since. April 25, 1934 he was married to Vera Goodenough, of Tremaynes corners. He is survived by his widow and a 14-months-old son, Arthur Lewis, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Leifheit, of Ionia, and five brothers, Harlan, Elmer and Wilbert, of Ionia, and Reuben and Ervin, of Lansing, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Ryckaert and Bernice Leifheit, of Lansing. Bearers were Fred Scheurer, Harold Scheurer, Norman Janes, Earl Janes, Floyd Janes and Ralph Swinehart. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Bert Houghton and Dr. W. W. Ferguson. Relatives from away were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ryckaert, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Leifheit, Ervin and Bernice Leifheit, of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boarneman, Mr. and Mrs. Ace MacElhone and Wm. Leifheit and Eddie Mitchie, of Illinois.
