Mrs. Kittie Leigh, 85, of route 3, Lake Odessa, died Saturday night at Pennock 
hospital in Hastings where she had been a patient since November 5.

Born October 16, 1888, in Carmel township, Eaton county, she was the daughter 
of John and Lydia Mount.

December 10, 1933, she was married to Hubert Leigh and lived all her married 
life on a farm in the Lake Odessa area.  Her husband died February 20, 1970.

Her favorite pastime was bowling.  She had bowled her last game on November 3, 
1973, at Lake View Lanes in Lake Odessa before being admitted to the hospital 
November 5.

Surviving are a son, Merle Trask of route 3, Lake Odessa; three grandchildren 
and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Pickens-Koops funeral chapel 
in Lake Odessa.  Rev. Richard Raegnert of Sunfield United Brethren church will 
officiate and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
