Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Feb. 21, 1970

LAKE ODESSA- Hubert Leigh, 85, long time area farmer died in Hastings Pennock 
hospital Friday morning where he had been a patient since early December.

Born in Sunfield township, October 1, 1884, he was a son of Franklin and Emma 
Leigh and remained on the farm where he was born throughout his entire life. 
Until his hospitalization he was a member of the Saturday night bowling league.
 

Surviving are his wife, the former Mrs. Kittie Trask, of Charlotte whom he 
married in December 1933; a step son, Merle Trask of Lake Odessa; three 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Leigh of Lake 
Odessa.

The body is at Pickens funeral chapel I lake Odessa where services will be at 2 
pm February 23.

Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
