Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday July 6, 1944

MRS. EMOGENE LEIGH DIED SAT.

Mrs Emogene Leigh, 86, died at the home of her son Hubert west of Sunfield, 
Saturday. She was born in Oakland county and came to the farm here 71 years ago.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield and 
interment was made in lakeside cemetery here.

She is survived also by a daughter Mrs. Jennie Cornell at Inkster; four sons, 
Arthur in Lansing, Irvin at Alto and Elmer and Hubert near Lake Odessa, six 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
