DOD:  Thursday, 20 November 1958

Spanish American War Veteran William Leik, 80 of 238 Quarterline Street, 
Portland, died Thursday morning.  He was in the service from 1898 to 1900.  
Surviving are his wife, Seraphaine; three daughters, Mrs. Ramilda Smith of 
Lansing, Mrs. Florence Rinehart of Dearborn and Miss Phyllis Leik of Lansing; 
one son, Harold Leik of Portland; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren 
and a brother, John Leik of St. Johns.

Rosary will be recited at 8 pm Friday at the Neller funeral home at Portland.  
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick church of 
Portland with the Rev. Fr. Lewis Flone officiating.  Burial will be in 
Portland cemetery.
