Liver trouble was given as the cause of death. Mrs. Leik was born near Westphalia on June 14, 1847. Her maiden name was Mary Hengesbach, and when twenty-three years of age she was married to Henry Leik. They settled on a farm near Westphalia, and lived in that vicinity until about ten years ago, when they moved to Portland. Mr. Leik died about three years ago. Mrs. Leik leaves four sons to mourn her loss. They are John of Westphalia, Will of Portland, Henry of Seattle, Wash., and Arthur of Tacoma, Wash. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick’s church this morning, Fr. O’Rourke officiating. Interment was made in Portland cemetery.
