Ionia Sentinel - 28 January 1963
Glen L. Leiter, 71, Twin Lakes, died Saturday evening at Sunshine hospital in 
Grand Rapids.  He was born in Isabella county May 9, 1891, the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Ira Leiter and had farmed in Mecosta county most of his life.   His wife, 
the former Cora Harris whom he married in 1913, died in 1945.  In 1946 he was 
married to Goldie Lathrop who died in 1959.  Mr. Leiter is survived by five 
daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Green of Lyons, Mrs. Dora Boerma of Big Rapids, Mrs. 
Gladys Pemberton of Ionia, Mrs. Eva Mullen of Coopersville and Mrs. Irene 
Alhers of White Cloud; three sons, Russell Leiter of Ionia, Ray of Tustin, and 
John Leiter of Lyons; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Towers of Belding, Mrs. Effie 
Kent of Greenville, and Mrs. Florence Anderson of Rodney; two brothers, Isaac 
Leiter of St. Louis, and Riley of Alma; 44 grandchildren and 40 great-
grandchildren.

Prayer service will be held Wednesday noon at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir 
and funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm at Forest hill church at 
Weidman.  Burial will be at Forest Hill cemetery.
