Ionia Sentinel - 27 September 1974
Glen Arthur Leiter, 22, of 408 West Washington died Thursday as a result of 
injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Bellamy road Thursday 
afternoon.  Born in Ionia, March 23, 1952, he was the son of John Leiter and 
Madeline Horton Leiter.  He attended the Lyons and Muir schools and the Ionia 
High School.  July 10, 1971 he was married in Ionia to Shelly Sherman of 
Lowell.  He was a welder at the Perdock Ornament Corporation at Ada.

Surviving besides the wife, Shelly, are a daughter, Amanda; parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. John Leiter of Lyons; brother, Phillip of Lyons; six half brothers, John 
James, Anthony, Alonzo and Terry Leiter of Ionia and Dale Leiter of Lyons; two 
sisters, Mrs. Sharon Monks of Lowell and Mrs. Audrey Miller of Gowen; a half 
sister, Cora Leiter of Lyons.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 pm at the Hull Memorial chapel in Muir.  
Rev. Roy Pitts of the First Baptist church of Ionia will officiate.  Interment 
will be at Easton Cemetery.
