Ionia Daily Sentinel - March 1, 1969
Funeral services for Shirley Jean Leiter, 29, who was fatally injured in an 
automobile accident early Friday morning, will be Monday at 2 pm at First 
Christian church in Ionia.  Rev. Theodore Forbes will officiate and interment 
will be at Balcom cemetery.  She was born February 14, 1940 in Clare county the 
daughter of Russell and Frances Leiter.  She attended Ionia high school and was 
employed at Gibson Refrigerator Company in Belding and also A & W Drive In at 
Ionia.

Surviving are three daughters, Kimberly, twins, Renee and Robin and a son 
William; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Leiter; two sisters, Mrs. Water Peterson 
of Belding and Mrs. Francis Nelson of Ionia; two brothers, Johnnie and Stanley 
both of Ionia; and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Florence Johnson of Mt. 
Pleasant.

Until noon Monday the body will be at Shaw Rivett Hull funeral home in Muir.
