LAURETTA FAYE LEITER 1938-2016
Lauretta Faye Leiter, age 77, of Lyons, passed away Sept. 10, 2016. She was born 
Sept. 17, 1938 in Ionia, Michigan, the daughter of Alzie and Ruth (Clark) 
Priest. Lauretta married John Leiter Dec. 23, 1960. He preceded her in death in 
2004.

She was a past member of Ionia VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Caring for her family was 
her love.

Lauretta is survived by her children, Cora Leither-Garcia of Lyons, Dale Leiter 
and Jennifer Ramos of Lyons, Sharon (Charles) Monks of Ionia, Audrey (Earnest) 
Miller of Greenville and Phil (Nancy) Leiter of Lyons; sisters, Wilma Wright of 
Ionia, Opal Travis of Ionia and Norma Triggs of Pottervile; 8 grandchildren, 12 
great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Glen Arthur (Sam) 
Leiter; brothers, Melvina and Walter; and sisters, Gladys, Edna and Ferne.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept.14, at Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia. Interment at the Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 7 
p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton community
