Sentinel-Std. - Wednesday, June 16, 1965

Mrs. Madge Drew LeMasters, 68, of 1444 Bellevue drive died Tuesday at her home. 
She was born October 7, 1894 in Montcalm county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
James Drew. A graduate of Carson City high school in 1914, she married Emerson 
LeMasters who preceded her in death in February of 1953.

Surviving are a brother, Ben Drew of Ann Arbor; three sisters, Mrs. Maude 
Williams of Carson City, Mrs. Ruby Wymon of St. Johns and Mrs. Bernice Bever of 
Manton; and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Alice Smith of Ionia.

Mrs. LeMasters was a member of the Methodist church and a past president of the 
American Legion auxiliary. She was a Red Cross worker and a Gray Lady at Ionia 
County Memorial hospital.

Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Myers funeral home with the Rev. Lester 
Bailey of First Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Bloomer 
Cemetery in Montcalm county.
