Services for Emerson J. LeMasters, 56, of South Ionia who died Thursday in a 
truck accident on West Riverside Drive were held at the Boynton funeral home 
Saturday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. Court O. Adams officiated.  Burial was at Bloomer 
Center cemetery near Carson City with full military services under the 
auspices of the Carson City American Legion Post.

Employees of the Ionia County Road Commission garage acted as honorary 
bearers.  Bearers were Fred Bishop, Adrian Cobb, Lem Hartman, Merl Burns, Fred 
Meyers and Harold Higgins.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taber and 
Harold Smith of Hubbardston; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mann, 
Charles Brown, Fred Beechler, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Beechler, Mr. and Mrs. George 
Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Mason Williams, Carson City; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Drew of 
Ann Arbor; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bever, Richard Bever and Mrs. Ben Fowler of 
Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carlson and Jen Carlson of Pontiac; Mr. and 
Mrs. Norman Wyman of St. Johns; Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Haas of Ithaca; Mr. and 
Mrs. Lewis Huested and Mary Ellen of Sheridan; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Edmonds, 
Mr. and Mrs. Lem Hartman and Mrs. Gladys Hartman of Muir, Mrs. F. E. Whitman, 
Mr. and Mrs. Leverett Munson, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Garner and Mr. and Mrs. Charles
