December 2, 2023 Pamela Jean LeMieux Pamela Jean (Barth)(Rider) LeMieux, of Hasting's, MI, passed away on November 27, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family. Pam was born on February 19, 2947, at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, MI, to Leo Wiemer Barth and Pearl Evelyn (Maier) Barth. Pam spent her childhood on her family's farm, Brookside Farm Stable.Pam's favorite childhood memories were riding her pony and enjoying nature. Pam graduated from St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Hastings, MI in 1961 and Lakewood high School, Lake Odessa,MI, in 1965. In 1966 Pam graduated from Chic Beauty University, grand Rapids,MI, and started her first job at Arcade Beauty Salon in Hasting's, MI. Pam married Raymond Leo Rider in 1967 and they moved to Minnesota in 1969 to raise their family. After the death of her husband Raymond in 1973, Pam moved back to Michigan.While raising her children, Pam was employed at the Reminder, The Other Place, and Jacob's Pharmacy. Pam found love agin in 1989 when she married John LeMieux. They spent many happy years together at their cottage on Middle Lake,Hasting's MI. Pam enjoyed listening to music, collecting special rocks, writing poetry, reading, and most of all spending time with her loved ones. Pam is survived by her sisters,Mary Ann Barth of Eaton Rapids, MI and to Jo Lee (Dick Lower) Barth of Wyoming,MI; her son Raymond Leo Rider II of Hasting's, MI, her daughter, Tamara Marie (Rider) Owen of Hastings, MI; her grand-children, Janye Simmons (Easton) Wallace, Kristen Jean Owen (Pam's namesake and goddaughter), Jalen Christopher Rider; several great-grandchildren, and her favorite dog, Jackson Browne. A memorial service for the family is being planned for a later date.
