Daily Sentinel-Std. - Wednesday, July 28, 1948

Word has been received in Ionia that Richard Lemke, Jr., 23, was killed in St. 
Louis, MO. Tuesday, Employed by a St. Louis funeral director, Lemke was driving 
an ambulance when he was struck by a truck. 

He was born in Birmingham, January 31, 1926. His mother is the former Pearl 
Montgomery of Ionia.

Surviving him are the parents, Pearl Storey Lemke of St. Louis, Mo., and 
Richard Lemke of South Haven, and a sister of Muskegon.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Bradley funeral home Friday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the family lot, Easton cemetery. 
Dr. Paul Steward will conduct the Episcopal service.
