Ionia Daily Sentinel, 1 Aug 1968

Funeral services for Louis F. Lemke who died Sunday were Wednesday with Rev.
Robert McComb officiating.  Interment was at Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were
Douglas Shields, Frank Johnson, Leslie Stebbins, Donald Fuller, Ford Shoen and
Vern Lockwood.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Kohn, Howard City; Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Kohn, Big Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Ross and Mrs. and Mrs. James
Lewis of East Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lemke, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lemke, Jr.,
and Mrs. Alan Benedict of Muir; Charles Lindgren, Haslett; Mr. and Mrs. Irwin
Hahn and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simmons of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Conner, and
Mrs. Robert Eldridge of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Jerome J. VanBelkum,
Cadillac; Mr. and Mrs. Carence Hahn and Kathleen and Mrs. Kenneth Schrauben of
Portland; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lemke and Mrs. Nellie DeWitte of Grandville; Mrs.
Roy Pung, Holt; Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Smith, Grand Ledge; Mr. and Mrs. William
Tafel and Thomas of Williamston.
