The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, June 13, 1899
Mrs. Frederica Lemke, the mother of Mrs. August Heiden, Mrs. John Tafel, and 
Charles Hacker, died at the home of her first named daughter, 526 Scheurer 
street, at 6:30 this morning at the ripe age of 72 years and 5 months.  
Funeral from St. John’s Lutheran church at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.  Interment 
in Oak Hill.
