Thursday of last week, John Lemley, Jr., arrived at the home of his aunt, Mrs. 
Charles Knapp, Leonard street, accompanied by his wife and their three 
children.  Mr. Lemley came to place beside her husband the ashes of his 
departed mother, whose death occurred at Oakland, Calif., some years ago.  
Sunday afternoon a simple grave side service was held conducted by Rev. Rynders 
of the Church of Christ.  Relatives present at the service were Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Knapp, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tiffany of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. 
Post of Hemlock and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rittersdorf.  

Mrs. Lemley was a former resident of this city and well known as Miss Agnes 
Wilson.  She leaves behind to miss her, five sisters and one devoted son.  The 
son and family will visit relatives in several other localities before leaving 
for their home in Ingelwood, Calif.
