The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 24, 1922

August Lemmin, age 81, passed away at his home on Hill street Sunday morning.  
Funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday at 1:30 and at 2 o’clock from 
the German Lutheran church.  Interment will be in the family lot at Highland 
Park cemetery.

Mr. Lemmin is survived by his wife, two children in Ionia, Mrs. ….(portion 
illegible)…number of relatives in Germany, and one sister in Ohio, and three 
grandchildren, William Wendland, Meta Wendland, and Walter Lemmin.
