Lake Odessa Wave - Times - September, 16, 1937
          FORMER RESIDENT BURIED HERE TUESDAY AFTERNOON

                                              -------------

   Theodore Lemon, 79  years of age, the father of Mrs. Samuel McRoberts of this
place, died at his home in 
Langston, Sunday, and the funeral was held there Tuesday with burial here the same
day.

   Mr. Lemon was a resident of the village about 30 years ago.  The wife died last
March and her body was also 
buried here.

   He leaves besides Mrs. McRoberts', another daughter Mrs. Hattie Layle and a son
William Lemon, both of 
Langston.
