Ionia Daily Standard, 27 May 1908

Alice Ameline Sharp was born in the state of New York in 1859.  When she was 8
years old she came with her parents to Michigan, where she has lived all the
years since.  In 1904 she was married to Frank Lemon, who died several years
ago.  She died on May 23d.  She was a member of the Methodist church.  The
funeral service, on Tuesday, May 26, was conducted by Rev. D.H. Shelly of this
city, and interment was in Highland Park.  Mrs. Sprague, a sister, from
Massachusetts, attended the funeral.
