Ionia County News, 25 Dec 1924

Mrs. J. Henry and Mrs. Dan Carr were called to Grand Rapids by the sudden death
of their brother, John Lenington, December 17.  Death was caused by a fall at
the hospital where he had been for the past two years for treatment.  He was a
resident of Saranac over fifty years ago and a Civil war veteran.  The remains
were taken to his home in northern Michigan for burial. – Saranac Advertiser.
