Lyons Herald, 22 Jan 1920

Miss Charlotte Leonard passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 14th, at the home 
of her sister, Mrs. Albert Link, where she was being cared for.  She had been 
in poor health for some time, and was brought home from Grand Rapids about 
Christmas, where she had been receiving treatment in a hospital.  She was born 
in Lyons in 1853, and had spent her entire life here.  She is survived by three 
sisters residing in Lyons and by a brother living in Belding.  Although a great 
lover of flowers, she had requested that they be omitted from the service which 
was held last Saturday, conducted by Rev. A.R. Mitchell of the Episcopal church 
at Ionia.  Burial was made in the family lot in the Lyons cemetery.
