Lyons Herald, 21 Mar 1912

Geo. H. Leonard, brother of the Misses Leonard and Mrs. Albert Link of this 
place suffered a stroke of paralysis and died Tuesday, March 19, at his home in 
Orange.  The end was sudden as he was stricken Monday.  He had just sold his 
farm where he had lived for the past forty years and had purchased a home in 
Portland where he expected to move soon saying he thought he was entitled to a 
rest after 70 years.  Mr. Leonard was formerly a Lyons boy and will be 
remembered by many of our readers.  Funeral will be held at the Portland M.E. 
church today.

buried in Portland Cemetery.]
