Leonard, at his home in Parker, South Dakota, January 17. Mr. Leonard and family lived in the vicinity of Palo from 1906 until 1917. For the past 11 years he had been manager of the Turner county hospital at Parker, S.D. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war, joining the Nebraska volunteer infantry, third regiment, which served in Cuba. Surviving him is his widow and five children.
