Ionia Sentinel – Tuesday, 19 February 1935
Funeral services for Charles M. Lepard, 76, conducted by Rev. R. A. Hoffman 
and Rev. R. l. Broadway, were held Monday at 2 o’clock at his home in Lake 
Odessa where he died Friday afternoon after an illness of but a few hours.  
Interment was at Lakeside cemetery.  He came to Odessa from Ohio with his 
parents 70 years ago and has lived there since.  In 1887 he was married to 
Miss Della Chamberlain, and to the union were born two daughters, Berma and 
Tressa Pauline, the latter dying in infancy.
