Della Chamberlain was born September 10, 1861, in Attica, Ohio.  After the 
death of her mother she came to Hastings, Mich., to live at the age of two 
years.  When she was six years old her father died and she went to live with 
her sister Mrs. John Parson, in Hastings.

In 1888 she was married to Charles M. Lepard and they settled on the farm in 
Odessa Township which was their home until 1917 when they moved to Lake Odessa.

Two children were born to this union, Burmiah, now Mrs. Leon Henney and Tressa 
Pauline who died in infancy.  Her husband preceded her in death two years ago 
last February.

For the past seven months she has lived with her daughter in Grand Rapids, her 
health gradually failing until she passed away October 10, 1937, at the age of 
76 years.

The funeral was held at her home in Lake Odessa, Wednesday, Oct 13 at 2 
o’clock.  Burial in Lakeside cemetery beside her husband and daughter.
