Lake Odessa Wave, 8 Aug 1946

Allie Lepard Died Friday.

Miss Allie M. Lepard, 79, lifelong resident of Odessa, died Friday night at the
home of her brother, Bert, west of town, after a lingering illness.  She was an
active member of the local Congregational church, the W.C.T.U., and L.O.W.C.,
and had been employed at the William H. McCartney store here for many years as
well as other local stores.

She was born in Odessa township September 7, 1866, the sixth child of Doniel and
Margaret Lepard.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Joseph E. Wortley, and three brothers,
Lafayette, Bert and Shirley in Lake Odessa.  Funeral services were held at the
First Congregational church Monday afternoon with the Rev. William B. Paterson
officiating and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
