Lake Odessa Wave 
          EDNA LEPARD DIED MONDAY
   Mrs. Edna A. LePard, 87, of Charlotte passed away Monday night at the DeWitt
Convalescent Home in Hastings where she had been a patient for the past three years.
   The daughter of Elisha and Elizabeth Rush, she was born here and had moved to
Charlotte 57 years ago. Her husband, Wesley, died in 1947.
   Surviving are three daughters, Miss Bertha LePard and Mrs. Irene Newcomer both of
Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Rose Beach of Charlotte and one son, Earl of Detroit.
   Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 at the Pickens funeral chapel with
burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Charles Gallup officiated.
