Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. August 28, 1947

SHIRLEY LEPARD DIED TUES.
Shirley Lepard, 72, died Tuesday evening at a convalescent home at Holt, after a 
long illness.

He was born in Odessa township and most of his life was spent in this community 
until some 30 or more years ago when he moved to Grand Ledge. Years ago he was 
employed at the William H. McCartney store for a number of years. His wife, the 
former Florence Clark preceded hm in death about nine years ago.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Maureen Clemens at Hastings, a son Keith in 
Philadelphia, Pa., and four grandchildren, also one sister Mrs.Joseph E.Wortley, 
and two brothers, Bert and Lafayette, all in Lake Odessa. Services will be held 
at Teman funeral home in Grand Ledge, Friday afternoon at 2. Burial will be in 
Lakeside cemetery here.
