Ionia Daily Standard, 19 Feb 1904

One of the saddest funerals of recent days was the burial of Mrs. Eugene Lepper
yesterday, who was taken so suddenly and so untimely, at the age of only 20
years.  The casket was buried with a great profusion of the most beautiful
flowers.  Rev. W. H. Macpherson conducted the service, and Mrs. Eugene Smith and
Mrs. W. C. Peer sang sweetly.  The bearers were Geo. M. Fenderson, Harry
Williams, Walter Straub and Fred Cook, and interment was in Highland Park.
