The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, June 22, 1960
Service will be held at the Myers funeral home Thursday at 2:30 p.m. for James 
LeRoy, 59, who died Monday at his home, 825 East Main Street.  The Rev. H. H. 
Callahan will officiate and burial will be at Sunset Memorial Garden Shrines.

Funeral service for James LeRoy, 59, 825 East Main street who died at his home 
Monday was conducted Thursday afternoon at Myers funeral home.  The Rev. H. H. 
Callahan officiated and burial was at Sunset Memorial Garden Shrines.  Bearers 
were John Zander, Joseph Truyette, Lee Holland, Gerald Robinson, Kenneth 
Passmore, and Duke Robertson.  

Order of the Moose and Woman of the Moose attended in a group.  Persons 
attending from out of town were Mrs. J. J. Allen, Jr. James Thompson, Mr. and 
Mrs. B. F. Allen, and Gary Van Vleet of Lansing; Mrs. Milton Rogers and Mr. 
and Mrs. Fred Beukema of Detroit; Mrs. Walter Tubbs Sr., of Downey, 
California, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tubbs Jr., Robert Tubbs, Mr. and Mrs. Robert 
Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Dyn Bogerd, Mrs. Ida Bogerd and Mrs. Wayne Scott of Grand 
Rapids, and Duke Robertson of Muir.
