Daily Sentinel-Std. - Friday, March 2, 1962

Mrs. Helen M. Leslie, 59, of 924 Hackett street died at 4 o'clock Friday 
morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient the past 
two days. She had been ill five years and confined in her bed the past one and 
one-half years.

Born in Easton township July 31, 1902, she was the daughter of Melvin and Mary 
Smith Dumper. She was married to Paul Leslie, March 20, 1922 and lived her 
entire married life at the present home on Hackett street.

Mrs. Leslie was a graduate of Ionia high school, and a member of First 
Methodist church. 

She was a member of Queen Esther Chapter OES and the American Legion auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Paul E.; one son, Gayle Leslie of Ionia; two 
grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Fern Bottje of Grand Haven.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Boynton 
funeral home with the Rev. Harold A. Jayne officiating.

Interment will be at Easton cemetery.

the family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 until 6 and 7 until 9 p.m.
