Ionia Sentinel Standard - September 21, 1970

                                 BERTHA E. LETT

Mrs.Bertha E. Lett, 80, of 2071 North State road died unexpectedly of a heart 
attack at her home Saturday afternoon.

Born November 1, 1889 in Fenwick she was the daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Elisah Reed 
and lived in Carson City before coming to her present residence 25 years ago. 
She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and its WSCS and also Community 
Fellowship Club. She had been employed at Ypsilanti Reed Furniture Company.

She leaves her husband, Ira; two daughters, Mrs.Betty Norman of Ionia, Mrs.Mary 
Childs of Chicago, ILL.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs.Lett will be at Myers-Roetman Funeral Home in Ionia until noon Tuesday when 
she will be taken to Zion United Methodist Church for funeral services at 2 
p.m.. Rev. Chester Erickson will officiate and interment will be at Clear Lake 
Cemetery.
