Lawrence “Larry” Letts, age 62, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Dec. 
13, 2008.

He was born Sept. 5, 1946 in Ionia to his parents Paul and Norma Letts. He 
worked and loved his job at First Housing, and was an avid outdoorsman who 
enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 wonderful years Marilyn (Higbee) Letts; 
children, Eric (Kathy) Letts of Ionia, Adam (Tina) Letts of Muir, Robert Letts 
of Ionia and David Letts of Pewamo; granddaughters, Emily and Sarah Letts whom 
he adored with all his heart; brothers, James (Dorothy) Letts of Ionia and 
Richard (Pat) Letts of Ionia and his mother-in-law Catherine Higbee of Ionia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Bruce Higbee; sister 
Joan Erridge and her husband Richard Erridge.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 11 a.m. at SS Peter & 
Paul Catholic Church in Ionia with Father Fox celebrant. Interment Easton 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. at 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and Wednesday 10 
a.m. until time of service at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Anyone wishing 
may make a memorial contribution to the family for a charity to later be
