Lyons – Funeral services for Mrs. Ferne B. Levall were Monday at 10 a.m. in
Grand Ledge.  The family moved to Lyons and after the death of her parents she
lived with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Clements in Lyons.  After
graduating as salutatorian from Lyons high school, she graduated from Lansing
Business college and accepted a position in an office in Lansing.  In 1939 she
was married to Joseph Levall, territorial manager of the company.  The lived in
Traverse City and later Mr. Levall was transferred to the Lansing office and
bought a home between Grand Ledge and Lansing.  They owned a summer home at
Bellaire lake near Traverse City and were at the lake home for the weekend when
Mr. Levall was taken suddenly ill and lived only a few years.  Later Mrs. Levall
moved to Grand Ledge, where her two daughters have been educated.  Mrs. Levall
was a member of the Congregational church at Grand Ledge and for some time had
been library technician in the Grand Ledge Schools.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Condell E. Clements, St. Joseph, Susan Levall
at home, who will graduate from Michigan State university in June, one
grandchild, Julie Levall Clements, St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Jack of
Alpena, Mrs. Roby Wright, Jordan Lake road Ionia; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Maurice
Stanwick, two step-grandsons, Greg and Roger Stanwick of Traverse City.

Among those from away attending were Mr. and Mrs. William Levall, Mr. and Mrs.
Maurice Stanwick, Greg and Roger Stanwick, Traverse City; Mr. and Mrs. David
Gillett, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jack of Alpena.
