Kenneth Romig in charge of the service. Interment will be at the Balcom cemetery. John Martin LeValley died Saturday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. and had lived his entire life in Ionia township. He was born in Ionia township, January 12, 1853, the son of Eri and Phoebe Tuttle LeValley. He was one of six children, all of whom have preceded him in death. He had lived alone at his farm for many years. Surviving are three nephews, Ira Benedict of Lansing, Theodore Gaul of Portland, Oregon, and Dr. L. D. Benedict of Ionia; and six nieces, Mrs. Herbert Smith, Ella Benedict and Hattie Benedict, Mrs. Nettie Butler and Mrs. Kenneth Swarthout, all of Ionia and Anna Gaul Beede of Portland, Oregon. Subsequent Publication: Wednesday, June 11, 1941 Funeral services for John Martin LeValley were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Myers funeral home on East Main street. Mr. LeValley died at his home in Ionia township Saturday. Rev. Kenneth Romig officiated at the service and interment was at Balcom cemetery. Bearers were Charles Jay, Dr. L. D. Benedict, Ira Benedict, and Dr. M. C. Foust.
