Ionia Sentinel Standard, Apr 2015

Beth was born on Sept. 4, 1957, and passed away peacefully Sunday April 12,
2015, with her loving husband of 31 years Bill, daughter Maggie Kish (Alan), son
Steven (Courtney), and family by her side after a long struggle with liver disease.

Beth leaves behind memories of her caring and strong nature to her siblings,
Sally (Carl), Tod (Joyce), Bob, Mark (Jill) and Matt (Deb) and was met in heaven
by her brother, David and Mom, Marian.

Beth graduated from Ionia High School in 1975 and received a Bachelor Degree in
Social Work from Aquinas College.  Beth also minored in Art and taught her
children an appreciation of the fine arts.

Beth was an avid gardener proudest of her annual herb and shadow gardens in the
back-yard and always keeping flowers in her home year-round.  Beth enjoyed
barefoot walks on the beach, afternoons reading in the sunshine, and would
always boldly do the daily crossword puzzle in pen.  Beth also enjoyed cooking,
her family always designated Beth to make her famous gravy on holidays.

Beth’s adventurous heart, sense of humor, and strong personality will be forever
remembered and missed deeply.

Memorial services will be held Saturday April 25, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Lehman
Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia, Michigan.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that
donations be made in Beth’s honor to Gift of Life MI, www.giftoflifemichigan.org
in memory of Beth.
