Ionia Daily Standard, 13 Feb 1901

The remains of Chauncey E. Lewis were received here yesterday, from Traverse
City.  Deceased was sent to the asylum there from Easton about three years ago,
and died on the 10th.  His age was 57.  Funeral services, conducted by Rev. D.H.
Shelly, at Dildine church, at 10 a.m. tomorrow.  Interment, Easton cemetery.
