Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. Aug. 2, 2012

Richard Scott Lewis, 46, of Ionia passed away July 30 in Lansing surrounded by 
his loving family. He graduated from Ionia High School class of 1984. He was a 
proud father and grandfather. Richard loved fireworks, amusement parks, and 
family get togethers. He also enjoyed working on cars in his free time and he 
always looked forward to celebrating Halloween each year. 

Richard is survived by his loving daughter, Stacey Lewis of Ionia; 
granddaughters, Chloe and Hannah of Ionia; parents, Otto and Joan Lewis of 
Ionia; brothers, Donald (Lorie) Lewis of Ionia and Gary Lewis and Cindy 
Horrocks of Ionia; sisters, Vickie (John) Wagner of Ionia and Julie (Steve) 
Camp of Lakeview; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 at Shiloh Community 
Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. 
Friday until time of service at the church. Interment is at Sunset Memorial 
Gardens. 

Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Richard's name to Lehman 
Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia, MI 48846 to help offset funeral expenses.
