Ionia Daily Sentinel, 14 & 15 Oct, 1912

Miss Carrie Lewis died last night at the Traverse City hospital, and the remains
will be brought here for burial.  Miss Lewis was the daughter of the late H.M.
Lewis for many years an Ionia grocer and has been at the hospital there for
about four years.

The remains of the late Miss Carrie Lewis, whose death was noted yesterday,
arrived today from Traverse City.  The funeral will be tomorrow at 10 o’clock
from the M.E. church, Rev. M.M. Callen officiating.  Burial in Highland Park
cemetery.
