MARY LOUISE LEWIS, 81
Mary Louise Lewis, 81, and a lifelong resident of Ionia, passed away peacefully at
home on her birthday November 10, 2018. She was born on November 10, 1937, the youngest of 6
children to Frank and Emily (Coates) Beckhorn. She is preceded in death by her
parents and siblings Robert, Kenneth, Harold, Fred and Anita, her husband, Jim lewis, and 
grandson, Jeffrey Towner. She is survived by her children, Ronda (Rod) Briggs, Randy
lewis and Jim (Tammy) Lewis, all of Ionia, 3 grand-daughters, Tracy Bryant of Ogden, UT,
Jessica Lewis and Jennifer (Tommy) Mierendorf of Grand Haven, 2 great-grandsons (Logan and 
Athin) and great grandson # 3 due in January. Several nieces, nephews and their
families and 2 special friends, Liz Winslow and Bobbie Jodouin.

Mary was a member of the former Ionia Elks Lodge and Moose Club for many years
helping both organizations with holiday parties for the kids, Friday night Fish Fry, Swiss
Steak dinners and Bingo.

Per her request, there will be no services, cremation has taken place and interment
will be at Tuttle cemetery.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Zion Food Pantry or Ionia Community
Awareness. the family would like to thank Faith hospice (Jen, Anna and Sara) and
lake funeral home of ionia for their help during this difficult time and all the friends
