Sentinel-Standard - Friday, June 7, 1929

The body of Mrs. Carrie Lewis, of Sullivan, Ill., was brought to Ionia 
Wednesday and interred in the Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Lewis was the 
daughter-in-law of the late H. M. Lewis, who was in the grocery business in 
Ionia at the present location of the Lauster market and the Hiler & Baird 
store years ago. Mrs. Lewis was 73 years of age. She died in the Masonic home.
