Fred Lewis 73, Laid to Rest Tuesday

Death came to Fred Lewis 73, of Saranac early Sunday, just ten days after the
death of his wife on January 26.  Mr. Lewis was well known throughout this
community, being a farmer in South Boston for many years, then retiring to his
home in Saranac.  He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Ruid of Holland; two
sisters, Mrs. Ed. Yager and Mrs. Celia Williams of Royal Oak; three brothers,
Bert of Saranac, Archie and Royal of Lowell.  Funeral services were held on
Tuesday with burial in South Boston cemetery.
