Charles A. Lewis, 82, of 228 Orchard, Portland, died Sunday at a Holt nursing 
home.

He was born November 5, 1888 in Sheridan.  He was an area farmer and home 
builder in Portland area many years.  A member of Portland Methodist church he 
also belonged to Portland Masonic lodge F&AM and was a life member of Portland 
Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving are a son, Glenn Wyman Lewis of Brighton; three grandchildren and 
four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Rev. Donald Cozadd will officiate and interment will be at Portland 
cemetery.  Bearers will be members of the Masonic lodge.
