Helen E. Lillie, 95, of Saranac passed away April 19, 2014 in Ionia.  She was 
born May 12, 1918 in Grattan Twp. the daughter of Terrie and Nellie (Stoles) 
Bresnaham.  Helen married Harold Lillie, he passed in 2003.  She was a member 
of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Helen is survived by her children, James (Carol) Lillie of Lowell and Jerry 
Lillie of Saranac; grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Lillie of Lowell and 
Jeffrey (Kerri) Lillie of Lowell; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jordan, Isabel, 
Cole, and Megan.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold 
Lillie; two brothers and one sister.

Special Thanks to Kathy Emelander and Great Lakes Hospice.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 24 at St. 
Anthony’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Ed Hankewickz celebrant.  Visitation 
will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with 
Rosary at 4 p.m., and on Thursday 9-10 a.m. at the Church.   Rite of Committal 
at Saranac Cemetery.  Those wishing, may make donations in Helen’s name to the 
St. Anthony’s Catholic Church or Great Lakes Hospice.
