JACK RUSSELL LILLY, 65
Jack Russell Lilly, of Portland, passed away on his 65th birthday after a long
battle with ALS.

Jack loved fishing, farming, and tinkering, he was able to fix anything.

He was a devoted employee at Davis Construction for many years.

Jack is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly E. Thayer; step-father, Henry
Thayer; and brother, Dennis Lilly.  Surviving Jack are his wife of 18 years, Judy Lilly;
children, Jack (Jamie) Lilly, Amy (Joe) Hewitt, and Tina (Matt) Robertson; grandchildren, Kyle,
Austin, Brandon, Cody, Dakota, Marc, Zach, Wynter, Autumn, and Anna; great-grandchildren, 
Ryder and Freya; and siblings, Gary Lilly, Lori Smith, Lynn hall, Deanna Brawt,
Randy Thayer, Nancy Council, and Joseph Thayer.

The Memorial service will be held at 11 am Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at the Lehman
Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral
chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation or Ionia Area Hospice in
honor of Jack.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman funeral homes.
