She worked for 26 years for Ionia county Commission on Aging, 24 years a Lyons township Clerk, Muir Village clerk and numerous other positions, but her pride and joy was being a mom to her nine kids. She was a member of the Ionia County Township Officers Association. She as a master at juggling schedules and always put her family's needs ahead of her own. She loved to travel, especially with one or more of her kids, and seeing the sights in Michigan was one of her favorite things to do She would frequently watch "Under the Radar" to get ideas of the next place to visit. Edith was a huge supporter of the Lyons-Muir Fire Department and First responders and her family could not be more thankful for all that they have done. We encourage all to support them in whatever way possible. The family would also like to thank Ionia County Victim Advocates and Michigan State police for all their help.
