Ionia Sentinel – 27 March 1967
Mrs. Margaret C. Lind, 66, of 206 East Lincoln, died Sunday at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital following emergency surgery.  She was born November 3, 1900, 
in Ionia, the daughter of Albert Cottingham and Cora Newhouse Cottingham.  
October 14, 1920  she was married to Arthur Lind and moved to Grand Rapids  
for five years, then to Lansing for five years and returned to Ionia in 1930 
and has made her home here since.

She was a graduate of Ionia high School, at one time an employee of Hayes Body 
Corporation, active in scout work, member of Elks Antlerettes and attended 
Presbyterian Church.  Surviving besides her husband Arthur is a daughter Mrs. 
Robert Brown of route 1, Orleans; her mother Cora Cottingham age 99 of 
Portland; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Traynick of Portland; one grandson.

Funeral services will be at Boynton funeral home Tuesday at 2 pm with Rev 
Robert McComb officiating and burial in South Boston cemetery.  Family will be 
at the funeral home to receive friends and relatives Monday 7 to 9 pm.
