Ionia Sentinel Standard – 27 June 1967
Arthur S. Lind, 65, was found dead in his home at 206 East Lincoln Monday 
morning apparently from what officers said were self inflicted gunshot 
wounds.  He has been an employee of Brown Corporation until recently and also 
had retired as secretary of Ionia Elks Lodge 548.  He also was a retail shoe 
merchant in Ionia at one time.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Shirley Brown of Woodard Lake, and was 
preceded in death by his wife Margaret March 26 of this year.  Funeral 
arrangements have not been completed.  The body is at Boynton Funeral Home.
